Mijn naam is Anneloes Lorjé (28 juni 1969), geboren in Smallingerland, tegenwoordig woon ik in Eindhoven.
Tien jaar geleden kwam ik in aanraking met het olieverf schilderen en sindsdien heb ik mijzelf daarin steeds verder ontwikkeld. Onder andere door het volgen van schildercursussen bij Karina en Shelly in het CKE en tijdens een vakantie op Fourni. Bij het CKE heb ik veel geleerd, waarvan ik tot op de dag van vandaag nog de technieken gebruik. In het begin was ik heel veel bezig met kleuren en nu ook meer met ruimte en gelaagdheid. Daardoor stap ik met succes uit mijn comfort-zone.
Mijn schilderijen zijn meestal kleurrijk en bevatten vaak stevige lijnen. Ik schilder graag landschappen en gebouwen. Als afwisseling schilder ik ook met materie of maak abstract werk.
Al mijn hele leven heb ik geprobeerd zoveel mogelijk musea te zien om te kijken naar het werk van anderen. Over de jaren heen waren de hoogtepunten: het MOMA, het Prado en de Hermitage. Meer recentelijk ook het Städel Museum in Frankfurt en het Leopold Museum in Wenen. In mijn Eindhoven natuurlijk het mooie Van Abbe en in Tilburg het bijzondere De Pont. Telkens wanneer ik de kans krijg om speciale tentoonstellingen te zien (De Fundatie, Rijksmuseum, Noordbrabants Museum) grijp ik die aan.
Musea bezoeken vind ik zeer nuttig, leerzaam en vooral zeer boeiend. Ik wil graag leren over de technieken die de kunstenaars gebruiken in hun werken. Nieuwe ontwikkelingen in de kunstwereld zijn ook van belang. Door mijn museumkaart kan ik gunstig op de hoogte blijven van nieuwe tentoonstellingen in de musea in mijn directe en wijde omgeving.
Ik hoop dat u de moeite zult nemen om mijn schilderijen op deze website te bekijken en daar net zoveel plezier aan te beleven als ik heb gehad bij het maken!!

Who am I
My name is Anneloes Lorjé ( 28th June 1969 ), born in Smallingerland, and currently living in Eindhoven.
Ten years ago I came in contact with oil painting and since then I’m in a process of further development.
Among other things I have followed painting courses with Karina and Shelly at the CKE and during a holiday on the island of Fourni in Greece. I learned a lot at the CKE and up until today I am still using their techniques. At first I was more engaged with colors and now have found more room for stratification.By doing this I have been able to step out of my comfort zone.
My paintings are mostly colorful and contain strong lines. I like to paint landscapes and buildings and for variation I also paint with raw material or make abstract work.
My whole life I have tried to visit as many museums as possible, to see work by other artists. Over the years there were highlights. The MOMA, Prado and the Hermitage. More recently the Städl museum in Frankfurt and the Leopold museum in Vienna and in Eindhoven of course Van Abbe and in Tilburg in particular De Pont. Whenever I get a chance to see a special exhibition (De Fundatie, Rijksmuseum, Noordbrabants Museum) I take it!
I find visiting museums very helpful but more so, interesting and fascinating. I want to learn about different techniques that artists use in their work and also about new development which I find very important. As I have a museum ‘card’ as we say in the Netherlands, I am able to keep up with new exhibitions within my own wide area.
